Invisible Connections announced as Construction Award Finalists
We’re pleased to announce our position as finalists for the British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA) in the Product Design Innovation Award category. Our entry is the ‘Telescopic connection system for achieving robustness (‘tied’ anchorage) in precast concrete stair-landing installations’.
The British Construction Industry Awards seek to recognise and reward excellence in project delivery, therefore, every year the calibre of the winning projects do just that. The BCI Awards process has established that the British construction industry is an industry that excels.
Following the initial project submission, which is reviewed by a panel of exceptional judges, Invisible Connections was shortlisted for the Product Design Innovation Award category.
Our submission was based on our telescopic connection system, which is designed to achieve robustness in precast concrete stair landing installations.
Shortlisted companies had to complete vigorous interviews with the judging panel.
The 29th British Construction Industry Awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 12 October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Derek Brown, Managing Director of Invisible Connections, said:
“We are extremely proud to announce that we are finalists for this year’s BCI Awards. Following on from an exciting submissions process, we are now looking forward to the awards evening, which are set to be the ultimate vindication of project team success.”
