New appointments strengthen Invisible Connections technical and manufacturing expertise

From 1st May 2025, Steve Fordham is being promoted to Technical Director and Martin Garrett is joining Invisible Connections as Product Manager, Reinforcement Couplers.
It’s been almost a decade since Steve Fordham joined the Invisible Connections team! During this time, Steve has provided expert technical support and steered product development and innovation, to ensure we continue to provide practical solutions which meet our customers’ requirements. Steve’s promotion to Technical Director is in recognition of his significant contribution in establishing Telescopic Connectors as the preferred method for connecting precast elements within the UK concrete construction community, as well as the expansion of Steve’s role to support iC projects internationally.
Martin Garrett is joining Invisible Connections to extend our manufacturing capabilities in the UK. With 35 years in the construction industry, Martin’s experience spans all aspects of the construction life cycle; earning valuable site experience as a steelfixer, and progressing to project manager overseeing a reinforcement and coupler facility for a leading frame contractor. As technical manager for a prominent concrete reinforcement fabricator, Martin fostered relationships with structural engineers, reinforcement detailers, designers and site teams, whilst managing production capacity to ensure product delivery on time and on budget.
